In support of DJ Henry please READ and Print and Mail letters

Please read the letters below...feel free to copy and paste and mail them out!  They have powerful words!

Letter to AG and Gov. CuomoThis is to request that an independent prosecutor be appointed with respect to the killing Danroy Henry, Jr. on 10/17/2010 by a Pleasantville, NY police officer. This matter is currently being investigated by the Mount Pleasant Police Department, which is a blatant conflict of interest. I understand that the NY State Police is also involved, but that is not enough to obviate the conflict with the Mt. Pleasant PD. They were on the scene and it is apparent by Mr. Henry's autopsy report that some harm was committed to him after he was shot. He was in the custody of the Mt. Pleasant police at that time. He had abrasions and lacerations on his face and shoulder that he did not have prior to the incident. He was shot through  the heart and both lungs. There was obviously no resistance on his part. Furthermore, the fact that Finnegan’s Bar and Grill was serving liquor to minors was not adequately investigated. These students were celebrating homecoming. Most college students are under 21. The fact that they may have had ID is irrelevant because this is a strict liability crime.
Please do not let me down.
Letter to Nita Lowey
I am very concerned about the investigation of the killing of DJ Henry on 10/17/2010 by a Pleasantville police office in Thornwood, NY. DJ played football. He was responsible and a good and loyal friend. He was always a good influence on others. He impressed upon him the importance of practicing one's religion regularly attended Church. This was not a young man who would intentionally run over a police officer.

I have to say that, although I was pleased to see that Sen. Brown has taken an interest in this case, I have not heard from you. This happened in your district. I urge you to insure that DJ Henry has justice and that his family gets peace.

Letters to Gillibrand and Schumer

DJ was a good young man. He had an academic scholarship and he played football. He was responsible and a good and loyal friend. He was always a good influence on my son. He impressed upon him the importance of practicing one's religion.  This was not a young man who would intentionally run over a police officer.
There are four honorable young men charged with crimes because they tried to help him as he was dying, face down, on the concrete. I have to say that, although I was pleased to see that Sen. Brown has taken an interest in this case, I have not heard from you. This happened in your state. I urge you to insure that DJ Henry has justice and that his family gets peace. Your involvement in this case would give this family the justice that they deserve. Please do not let us down.
